Today Libra Instruments is the largest independent assembler of industrial weighing equipment in the Eastern Africa and supplies its products and services to industries all over the region. Libra Instruments’s head office and principal manufacturing facilities are based in Nairobi Kenya. Libra Instruments’s products are also sold and serviced throughout the East African Region . All products that carry the Libra Instruments brand name are wholly designed and Assembled in Africa. Because our products are locally designed and Assembled, they are tailor-made to suit local conditions and enjoy outstanding after-sales support. Our product designs are stable and flexible, and enjoy a long market life. Spares and services are readily available and are reasonably priced. All weighing equipment is designed to the highest international standards and complies with local metrology laws where required.

This service is backed up by our mechanical and electrical workshops which are well equipped with tools and spare parts.

Libra Instruments has Weights and Measures Accreditation for a wide range of Verification work currently covered by the Legal Metrology Act of 2010.
Our current scope covers a range from 0.00001kg and exceeding 100t -our scope has an unlimited range. This includes Analog scales, Digital scales, Road and rail weighbridges, Hopper scales, Automatic hopper scales and also Beltweigers.
